London Fashion Week 2011: Felder Felder Backstage Spring/Summer 2012

Backstage at Felder Felder Spring/Summer 2012, Panos Papandrianos and the Wella Professionals Creative Team reflected the rock and roll element of the Felder Felder woman with the ‘it girl grung’ look:  effortlessly cool, yet textured, volume was created at the crown and hair pulled back on the sides to create a swept away look, embodying freedom of movement with a nod to rock and roll.

Panos Papandrianos, leading the Wella Professionals Creative Team, said: “We wanted the hair look to be full of personality, inspired by the ‘it’ girl on a night out on the town.  Fun, quick, and quirky, this is a look that still encapsulates the raw edge of Felder Felder.’

The Felder Felder girl is an uptown girl who likes to party downtown, isn’t afraid to take risks and lives life on the edge.

This season’s collection sees flowing pieces with injections of colour and a rock and roll twist demonstrated by studding.

Felder Felder commented: “We really enjoyed working with Panos and the Wella Professionals team in creating the concept for this look.  He encaptured our vision perfectly as the hair look had enough structure but wasn’t too heavy.  This allowed for enough movement which mirrored the flowing form of the collection, pulling the look together perfectly.”

Papos Papandrianos and the Wella Professionals Creative Team’s tips to get the look:

• Prep the hair with Wella Professionals Extra Volume Mousse to create extra volume and hold, before rough drying.
• Spray in Systems Professional Resolute Lift to create volume at the crown, whilst using a hair dryer and roughly brushing the hair back.
• Spray Wella Professionals Dynamic Fix closely to the root of the hair, working back towards the ends, to give the hair texture and create a dishevelled and undone look.
• Lastly finish with Wella Professionals Sculpt Force Gel; lightly pinch sections of the hair to exaggerate the wet look.
