New York Fashion Week 2011: Jenny Packham Spring/Summer 2012

Fashion designer Jenny Packham swapped showing her collections in London Fashion Week for New York Fashion Week some years back.

Known worldwide for her bridal collections she was at times somewhat overlooked, however, since her collection was adorned by one of the most influential women in fashion this year – The Duchess of Cambridge – not once, but trice, Packham’s sales seem to have skyrocketed, making her spring/summer 2012 collection truly desirable to the Hollywood elite

Actress Mandy Moore sat front row and whilst she looked on with delight the fashion pack took stock of what the Duchess of Cambridge may just be wearing for next season.

Dress hems went from slim a-line fittings to full dramatic floor length skirts, complete with carefully chosen cap sleeves on top, showing off a mixture of glamorous day dresses with sought-after eveningwear.

The palette changed from pastel blushes and ice cool tones to vibrant corals, sunset reds and orange tones hues, making this a standout collection that could be worn for any Royal occasion…
