Returning to the catwalk just months after giving birth Victoria Beckham looked as glamorous as ever.
As baby Harper Beckham slept quietly below the show Victoria brought a sporty yet chic take to New York for spring/summer 2012.Speaking about her collection before hand, Victoria was cut short by the thudding of music as helicopters swirled above in the skies and security was held at high level, keeping a watchful eye over the city in the memory of the 9/11 tragedy, ten years after it had happened; this meant shows were kept to a strict schedule.
Victoria however was apparently unfazed showing an array of dense jersey sport luxe pieces, colour blocking in navy and orange and matching with her own oversized handbag collection creating an urban luxe feel, which seems to be becoming a major trend for next season.
Body conscious dresses were kept to mid and calf length alongside an attractive range of embellished dresses, knee length, with gross grain straps.
The collection also incorporated silk and satin parka and bomber coats in lilac and pale pink in conjunction with techno stretch fabric strapless dress creations.
Victoria is set to show her second line later this week at New York Fashion Week but for now seems to have proven her critics wrong again with another opulent collection.
